This is a preview of a young man’s story from tragedy to triumph. Through his faith and the people surrounding him. This is an intro video promoting his presentation to today’s students.
PERSONAL: Born Blake Jeffrey Brazil on Feb. 3, 1988, in Lubbock, Texas. Son of Jeffrey Brazil and Lorna Brazil. Father is a Texas Tech graduate and is currently a high school principal. Mother graduated from Lubbock Christian University and is employed as an elementary teacher. He has three siblings, Carson, Colby, and Reece. Cousin Kent Riker played football at West Texas A&M. His major was in physical therapy with an minor in biology.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Anton High in Anton, Texas. Participated in football, basketball, powerlifting and track and field. He was an area and regional qualifier in the discus in 2003 and 2004. He championed the discus at the district, area and regional levels in 2005 and 2006. He was the 2005 State discus runner-up, finished third at State in 2006 in discus, and area and regional qualifier in shot put in 2005 and 2006. Best discus throw was 171′-2″ in 2006.
